That's an excellent point, and I agree. Tara is such a giving, feeling character that she's able to understand the needs of other characters better than even their closest friends, and change her behavior to meet those needs; think of the confidences she's shared with Buffy, when Buffy, really, doesn't know her that well. Buffy didn't tell anyone she was sleeping with Spike, but she told Tara not only that, but how it made her feel; Tara's just so receptive to other people that she works with basically anyone.
