In my head, Buffy will give him his memories back. Because it would break her heart if she knew he'd deny her hers. Because one thing Angel has always been is the person who understands her no matter what, her constant ally; the things they've been through are painful, sometimes almost too painful to bear, but they've gotten through all of them, survived all of them, together, and if he didn't remember them, she'd be alone. And it's a terrible thing to be alone even when you're with someone, and she'd never want that from Angel. He's worth more than that, and she doesn't want to resent him for something he can't control.
