Date: 2006-11-29 04:37 am (UTC)Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. I've been feeling not entirely well. But yes, you're definitely friended. Again, apologies for the delay . . . and, just for reference, in my journal I usually don't talk in telegraph style. Usually. Stop.

Date: 2006-11-29 04:39 am (UTC)Everyone does. It's very hard to be suave in a tiny box.
You're totally friended, by virtue of your Joan Osborne lyric bio and your Veruca default icon. (See? The comment didn't even matter.) I'm Carly. I work here. Good to meet you.

Hi, sweetie! I was wondering where you'd gone off to! It's great to see you again; of course I still want to keep in touch. I'm adding you right now!

Date: 2007-02-20 04:14 am (UTC)David Boreanaz is too good-looking. There are several small countries that, their militaries not large enough to control the screaming mobs he generates, have banned him for public safety concerns.
And we only have two friends in common, but they're very important friends. Welcome aboard.
(Zomigod, Nip/Tuck is crack. Crack!)

Date: 2007-03-22 10:28 pm (UTC)Amy is very awesome! She's one of my oldest LJ friends, and I love her a lot. Any friend of hers is a friend of mine; I'm delighted to have you friend me. I'm adding you back right now.

Date: 2007-09-30 05:24 am (UTC)Thanks! I'm incredibly vain about my writing, so that's probably the best foot in the door.
And whatever, like I'm not going to friend you. I've got to keep an eye on you, don't I? ;)

Date: 2008-02-03 12:29 am (UTC)I'm a college freshmen majoring in journalism and political science, but I want to write for television and watch entirely too many shows. I like Doctor Who and traveling and had entirely too little sleep last night so forgive me if I'm rambling.

Date: 2008-02-03 03:28 am (UTC)I'd like to start with: omigod I love your icon. Obama yay!
I looked through your journal and I am very excited to friend you; you seem awesome as well.
The short on me: I am a college senior who was pre-med and then decided that may not be the best idea. I am a (just a little bit) published and award-winning poet and author in real life. I work as a pharmacy technician, and I volunteer in inner-city school clinics and for Planned Parenthood. I have bipolar disorder, and the world's cutest puppy. I'm learning Italian, and sometimes I do posts half or entirely in Italian to practice.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I'm very happy to meet you.

Date: 2008-02-03 03:41 am (UTC)It's really great that you volunteer in clinics and for Planned Parenthood. My dog Jack is the worlds cutest dog, but yours might be a close second :D. He's a five-year old golden retriever and the thing I miss most when I'm at school.
I've been to Italy! Rome, Pompeii and Florence. It was incredible, and I loved it. I was there for a week my junior year of high school. I don't think I could ever live there, mainly because I'm a Chicagoan and it'd take a lot for me to slow down to the pace of life there, but I want to visit again sometime. I'm half-decent at Spanish, and spoke it a lot when I was in Italy. They understood the gist of what I was saying a lot of the time, but I couldn't get what they'd say back. One time, this hot Italian boy told me in perfect English, "you know you're speaking Spanish, not Italian, right?". It was a little embarrassing.

Date: 2008-02-03 04:05 am (UTC)Thank you! I'm really glad you enjoy my stories, and I always love hearing that. Writers are very vain.
I am seriously lazy about updating it, though; the newest stuff's in my journal, under the story posts tag.
Here's my guy. His name is Oz and he's a hybrid, and I'm so glad to be able to have him at school; I moved off campus just so I could have him live with me.
I've never been to Rome, or anywhere outside the country because neither I nor my family has ever had any extra money lying around, but I'm thinking of teaching English as a foreign language in Italy when I graduate, so I can get better at speaking Italian. For the past couple years I've been meaning to learn Spanish, but it's never really been an intensive thing; I get sidetracked. I'm super jealous of anyone who's truly bilingual, though, because it's such a challenge for me.

Date: 2008-07-18 04:23 am (UTC)i'm a college...student (it doesn't really seem appropriate to say "senior" when i'm not sure what i'm doing) and i have two jobs, one of which i really, really hate, so most of my entries consist of me bitching about that. so if you choose to add me, i apologize in advance for that.

Date: 2008-07-19 03:28 am (UTC)Add me at your own peril. :) If you have any questions at any point, don't feel shy asking for backstory; I don't mind at all. And I have a job that I often hate, too, so . . . yay for commonalities?
Welcome aboard. Ahoy and such.
Carly
